Bike Fixers Mobile Bicycle Mechanic Cycling Weekly

Thinking of starting a mobile bicycle repair business?

Cycle Tech UK Are The National Mobile Bicycle Repair Specialists.

Cycle Tech UK are NOT associated with Bikefixers in any way, shape or form.

Each of our Cycle Tech UK members is a independent business working to the same high standard and service under the same logo. Like minded individuals who like to fix bicycles, running their businesses full time.

Once you know what you need to start your own business and how to find customers, you can go out on your own prepared and there is no need to join a franchise and pay fee's:

Don't waste your time and money on a franchise. When you can do it for yourself.
You can do so much more for less than £10k and avoid monthly franchise fee's.
You should speak to all other franchisees first and ask:
As far as I know there is only 1 full time BikeFixers franchisee!!!!!

  • How much they earn, if any!
  • What the monthly fee is?
  • What support they are given.
  • What are the hidden costs?
As with any franchise you will soon find that they can be very misleading about the franchise earning potentiel (You need to also make a return on your investment, pay yourself and pay a franchise fee) If you think you can earn a £1000 a week you will be wrong! Not saying it can't be done, but it is going to take your business a lot of years of hard work, you will soon find that you need to work a 80 hour week! Is that why you want to work for yourself?
Check out the internet, there are 3 more mobile cycle service franchises in the UK!

A day at The Bike Inn - Disc Brakes & Suspension

I have heard a lot of good things about The Bike Inn. Run by Alf and Teresa Webb.
And was looking forward to a day’s course. “Disc brakes and suspension”. This course was tutored by Ian.
And it was a pleasure to be taut, Very professional. Reminded me of my days in the motor trade, on factory training courses, run at a high skills level and covering all aspects of disc brakes and suspension. Ian is very knowledgeable and explained the content very successfully.
